Check-In Requirements

Our check-IN window is from 01:00 PM through 04:00 PM daily.

Our check-OUT window is from 09:00 AM through 11:00 AM daily.

Check-ins and Check-outs are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Early or late check-ins and check-outs may be accommodated for an additional fee, and solely at our discretion.

Please bring kitty's normal food and any medication he/she requires.
Please bring kitty in his/her carrier.
We will take care of the rest!

Some people want to bring a blanket that has special meaning (or smells) for their cat.

We will provide a comfy bed, soft blankets, and plush pillows for your cat to cozy-up in. We will not accept any bedding/blankets at all DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF UNDETECTED FLEA EGGS being carried in this way.

Your cat will be flea-checked (combed) at the time of check-in. If we detect any evidence of fleas, your booking will be nullified and your deposit will be non-refundable at that time.
If your cat is found to have fleas, after check-in, a $50 fee for each of your cats will be assessed for purchasing and applying a flea treatment.

Our cat boarding facilities are unique in Portland not only because of the spacious bedrooms, but that they are free of fleas. No other facility guarantees this and will readily accept cats loaded with fleas. To ensure that promise, cats brought for boarding should be flea-free, either because they are on a regular flea treatment program or you have treated them at least 48 hours prior to boarding. You can do this treatment yourself - just talk with a veterinarian.

Cats must be current on the FVRCPC (distemper combo) and rabies vaccinations. If you do not vaccinate your cat because of allergic reactions, age, or sarcoma at the injection site, please let me know this ahead of time. Considerations will be made for immune compromised and geriatric cats or cats who are allergic to vaccinations, with a note from your vet.

Your cat's nails must be trimmed 01-07 days prior to boarding at The Oswego Cat Lodge.
If your cats nails are not trimmed, we will trim them while staying here.
The charge for a nail trim is $10.00.

All of our:
* bedding is laundered
* litter boxes are sanitized
* food and water dishes and fountains are cleaned after each furry guest checks out.

This is the main reason why we have dedicated Check-In and Check-Out times to allow for proper sanitizing and cleaning of the rooms and cat accessories.

We exclusively use "The World's Best Cat Litter." If your cat is picky about his/her particular brand of litter, please feel free to bring it with you to Check-In.
